Larger than Life

             In every age God call Man to develop and improved His or Her talents for the goods of others.I was one of the few answered His call. I Jamiela Versosa Valcurza, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Rabanez Valcurza. I was born in the city of Golden Friendship The CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY on April 6, 1997. Now I’m recently living in San Ignacio Manay Davao Oriental, this is too far from where I was born right? How do I get there? That’s because my mother Mrs. Julieta Versoza Valcurza was assigned to teach in Ronquillo Dayanghirang Elementary School (the elementary school of San Ignacio) since 2003. Speaking of R.D.E.S, I also finished my elementary years there and presently I’m a 4^th yr. student of Manay National High School at the same place.

            “Great men of the world fight for the beliefs you spoken and which you so strongly believed”, the line I remember from the movie “THE PATRIOT”. That line best describes me. I am just a jolly person smiling at the world, but I can fight for what is true which I strongly spoken and believed. I would not stop at only words, I push it to actions. But I have to accept all the consequences of it. Many had tried to destruct and oppress me but all of them failed. In this world I’m living the only reason why I’m still striving is the love of GOD-the GOD himself. That’s why one of my hobbies is to pray, sing, and read. My everyday is incomplete if can’t pray. Praying is my only to talk to him and give him thanks. Sometimes I sing my praises and prayers through Christian Songs.

              In terms of great friendship, I unfortunately didn’t own one. I think I didn’t find yet a friend who’s willing to sacrifice for me. I have my VIENS group; we are only five in the group. I’m happy to be with them in times of happiness, but sad when I’m down. They are Harvy Laviña, Princess Lorainne Jaquez, Jessa Magbutong, and Candy Feb Diabakid. It’s really hard for me to realize everyday that in every time that they are in need, I’m always on the rescue. Always ready to be their shoulder when they cry, and will help them in their problems. But sadly when I needed them, no one will turn back at me. But despite of that I don’t know why I’m still with them. Maybe GOD has a plan for me to change them. And maybe this is the proof that I can humbly say that I am a good friend.

          My life revolves only in GOD. With GOD’s love, grace, and guidance, I will forever serve him come what may. Because truly his “LARGER THAN LIFE”.
